Butterball Farms, Inc is currently seeking a Maintenance Reliability Manager
with a lean mindset and experience in creating systemic, sustainable change. In this role, you will report to the Plant Manager and be a key member of the operations team that also includes leaders from purchasing, production, and quality.
As a Maintenance Reliability Manager you will:
Be accountable for complying with and enforcing Food Safety Programs including but not limited to HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) Allergens, and Global Food Safety Initiatives, Food and Drug Administration, and Food Safety Modernization Act?
Train, coach, and direct the daily activities of the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift maintenance team.
Ensure adoption of Redzone OEE-based production tracking software and the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) in order to track, analyze and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, % planned WOs vs % unplanned, schedule compliance, etc.
Evaluate long-term needs of the facility and operation, recommend risk management plans and capital improvement plans to management to ensure safe and efficient operations. Organize, determine, lead, and coordinate approved projects from initiation to completion, including scheduling.
Coordinate, arrange, and supervise the completion of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance (PM, PdM) in accordance with company safety procedures and integrate preventative maintenance into the daily plans of the plant.
Participate in facility-wide safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement programs (Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) in order to achieve business goals.
Ensure that high standards of safety are developed, communicated, and met within the department and facility. Create an atmosphere of personal accountability by role modeling all safety expectations and adhering to all safety policies.

We believe a successful Maintenance Reliability Manager will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience- required
Minimum of 5 years' maintenance and reliability, production management, engineering or operations experience – required
Minimum of 2 years experience leading others - required
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude - required
Experience working with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, inspectors, and customers to move projects forward and achieve desired outcomes - required
Strong communication skills; a sense of urgency; customer focus; adaptive to change – required
Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Production System Software - required
Experience with Food manufacturing - preferred
