To be successful in this role the candidate will need proven ability to proactively gather all necessary components to create new documents, develop the most efficient process for employees to follow, and communicate that process with experienced technical writing skills. Analyzing current process standards and metrics providing solutions and improvements to current processes. Gathering data to perform root cause analysis and suggest appropriate process control changes. Coordinate with subject matter experts and program leadership to develop process improvement reports for setting progress, and appropriate recommendations and conclusions. Prioritize and implement process change requirements based on the critical project needs. Determine fiscal requirements and personnel resources required for process re-engineering of process change. Prepare and manage budgetary requirements for process re-engineering. Inform teams on process improvement and re-engineering strategies. Work with teams to recommend appropriate changes in process/approach. Prepare communication plans regarding process re-engineering for multiple stakeholders. Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, including: operations, client/customer, and vendor partners. Technical Writing: Responsible for creation and management of process documentation to be used by various NWC@Amazon teams. Work with managers, leaders and line level staff to understand current, and new changing technical and non-technical programs capturing the necessary processes for employees to use when assisting customers. Transferring process knowledge to employees writing crisp and efficient content, utilizing a standardized style guide, acting as the one source of truth for various NWC@Amazon teams and our client. Provide high-quality content, working in technical, fast-paced environment, and innovating to update and create process and technical solutions to problems. Execution & Management: Drive high-impact projects including division wide audit, review and edit process of all current SOP\u2019s, project manage deliverables, developing workback plans and ensure milestones, report-outs, and timelines are met.NEEDED EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTSEducation Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\u00A0Experience A minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement analysis Experience in technical writing and ability to draft clear, concise Standard Operating Procedures. Experience with conducting, calculating and presenting Time in Motion Studies to executive and operational leadership. Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations, including to executive leadership. Ability to interview front line staff to create a real, easy to follow work instruction or procedures. Strong computer skills, project management skills, and a high attention to detail. Knowledge of internet software, spreadsheet software, word processing software, graphics software, and any other applicable software as may be needed by the job from time to time as it changes. Keen understanding for how to deliver excellent results within a talented team, as well as being able to drive change across other organizations. Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, across globally-distributed teams. Is not averse to change.WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to frequently carry and lift a backpack containing a laptop and other supplies, up to 50 pounds. May need to carry supplies to other buildings. It is a combination of desk and actively visiting several Amazon buildings so the ability to move within a 1.5 radius is required. Must be able to stand and/or sit at computer for up to 8 hours per work day. Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language Ability to see both distance and details at close range, within a few feet of the observer (with or without corrective lenses). Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person (with or without a personal auditory hearing device). Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including occasionally arriving early, staying late on a moment\u2019s notice and occasional evening and weekend shifts.
