Summary:
The Radiology Director is responsible for the daily operations of all assigned areas of responsibility, specifically Diagnostics, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Special Procedures, Computed Tomography, MRI, and Mammography. Responsible for implementing and carrying out plans in accordance with the hospital philosophy and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates full support of the CHRISTUS Health mission through demonstrated measurable results and conduct consistent with the mission statement and strategic plan.
1.Staffing for 24/7 coverage
2.Maintaining Productivity Standards
3.Maintaining Patient Satisfaction Goals
4.Maintaining proper Licensures, Accreditations, and Certifications as required by Regulatory Agencies
5.Responsible for the preparation and implementation of the approved budgets for the operation of departments and is accountable for controlling costs.
6.Overseeing Supply Utilization
7.Strategic planning for Technology changes and advancements
8.Responding to patient, physician, and associate complaints or concerns
9.Maintaining Intra-Departmental Communication and Work-flow
10.Communicating Corporate and Leadership Objectives to staff
11.Maintaining a Safe work environment
12.Maintaining Associate and Physician Satisfaction
13.Organizes department structure and develops short and long term goals and objectives for the departments of responsibility.
14.Chair of the Radiology Workgroup Committee
Requirements:

Education/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree Required. Masters Degree preferable..

Experience:
·Three to five years of management experience
Knowledge of Radiology Services. B.
