Accounting Manager
This position is responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of deliverables prepared by the Corporate Accounting associates and is responsible for the professional development of all direct reports..
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all necessary Journal Entries are completed by the team, Intercompany transactions reconciled, and variances understood
Managing the timely and accurate preparation of certain GAAP and statutory basis reports and disclosures
Help with corporate close process, financial statement prep, budgeting and review.
Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable
Identifying process inefficiencies, recommending efficient process or system alternatives, and facilitating the implementation of process or system changes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 5 years working in an accounting or finance role
CPA is required
Able to demonstrate proficient accounting knowledge with expertise in month end processes and reporting
Proven communication and presentation skills
Driven individual able to manage full time employees
Exposure to and a desire for continuous improvement methodologies
