Project Manager
LM Wind Power is growing and expects this growth to continue, expanding existing production lines and opening new factories. This together with a high focus on implementing new technologies gives great opportunities for Mold Operation. In our department we design and build all molds and mold equipment, used in our blade production. To strengthen our execution of projects, we are currently looking for a Project Manager. LM Wind Power is world leading when it comes to blade design and manufacturing. To keep this position, it is essential that we are also leading in the field of molds. Today the department consists of 74 colleagues in Denmark, India and China. All your colleagues contribute to creating an agile and innovative team which can handle a large variety of projects with high complexity. As our new Project Manager you will work independently with a high level of responsibility and you will have great opportunities to form and implement you own ideas and we will give you the mandate to do so.
A typical project will involve 20-50 people, having a budget of 20 mill. dkk. and will include.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Planning of time, cost, resources, quality, risk and communication.
Developing and designing the deliverables including implementation of new technologies.
Manufacturing the solution including close corporation and negotiation with internal and external suppliers.
Implementing the solution at our internal customer’s site, securing production start on time, and product output at the agreed quality.
Evaluation and knowledge sharing before project closure.
Qualifications
You probably have a background within mechanical engineering and might come from the metal industry or a machine builder where you have worked with large construction or machine design.
You have strong experience within development/manufacturing and a proven record of project management on larger projects.
Experience with working in international companies with cross cultural projects is a plus.
Education or certification within Project Management.
Moreover, you have:
Knowledge within EHS and quality (CE, OHSAS etc.).
Understanding of Static/Dynamic calculations and machine features.
As a person you have good communication skills and can build a strong network globally.
We expect that you take the lead and drive ideas and changes through a dynamic organization.
You have strong English skills both written and spoken.
Experience with LEAN is an advantage.
