POSITION PROFILE:
LOCATION: This position can be located in
Northern or Southern California; or Seattle, WA
The Education and Healthcare Manager will be responsible for growing Knoll’s Education and Healthcare vertical market businesses within specific Divisional markets. The ideal candidate will be able to create and implement a strategic plan to grow existing accounts and develop new business through key targets, while working with Dealer Sales and Sales Management. This position reports to the Regional Director of Sales and has a strong partnership with the Vice President of Education / Healthcare.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fostering relationships with key contacts in designated region(s) within the Education and Healthcare vertical markets
Uncovering new opportunities; and building relationships and sales with dealers, A&D contacts, real estate organizations and end user clients
Developing and executing sales strategy for specific regions, markets and end user clients
Responsible for managing, leading, and coaching a team of Sales Representatives and Dealers to meet specific sales goals
Required Skills
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Strategic thinking ability
Self-driven and proactive solutions approach
Work effectively in a collaborative, team-based sales organization
Required Experience
BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience
Sales experience required
Industry experience required
Previous sales leadership experience desired but not mandatory.
Knowledge of basic Office 365 and Salesforce desired
