Description
Program Manager oversees the program to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing program, directs and coordinates program activities, and exercises control over personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program. Confers with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for functions and phases of program. Directs and coordinates personally, or through subordinate managerial personnel, activities concerned with implementation and carrying out objectives of program.
Responsibilties:
Oversee all aspects of a large mixed onsite / offsite network and system administration team who will be managing infrastructure platforms and system environments supporting Microsoft Enterprise SharePoint and other Microsoft COTS applications for a Federal agency.
Responsible for organizing programs and activities
Daily interface with the customer to provide status on the development efforts and of the overall program effort.
Manage the development effort budget and provide regular status updated to VSolvit management on the status of the program.
Provide weekly and monthly status reports to the customer and VSolvit management on the status of the program
Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
Analyzing program risks.
Working on strategy with the marketing team.
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
5 years managing federal agency IT Infrastructure platforms (network, server, cybersecurity in both on-premise and cloud environments) experience
5 years experience creating task order status reports, program / project management plans, in-progress reviews, and quality assurance plans
10 years IT infrastructure platform program management experience
10 years program management experience overseeing teams with 20 or more personnel
Experience supporting a Federal agency IT platform cloud migration
Experience supporting Federal agency cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Authority to Operate (ATO) for IT infrastructure platforms
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field.
Proven experience in program management.
Proven experience managing a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience dealing with senior level Federal managers and providing formal briefings
5 years' experience managing SharePoint systems projects for Federal Agencies
Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
