IT Project Manager - NASCO
Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying, planning, driving and tracking NASCO work across multiple programs, portfolios, and releases.
Focus on ownership and identifying NASCO work drivers within highly complex work plans with Internal and External dependencies.
Development of strategic plans for multiple projects of high business and technical complexity, including demand management, and capacity planning.
Development and delivery of training materials for CSR and PDM processes for Michigan’s NASCO Delivery Office. Provide ongoing process support for all departments engaging the NASCO technical team.
Develops detailed work plans and schedules using MS Project.
Develop and Monitor project metrics for significant deviations in quality, cost, or schedule.
Develop and present presentations to executive leadership.
Direct and frequent involvement in sponsor, client, and customer relations to ensure that service expectations are met or exceeded.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated strong leadership experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience running IT projects
Displayed ability to think creatively and out of the box.
Demonstrated ability to work within an evolving work environment.
Demonstrated ability to document, audit and track large amounts of detail.
NASCO (CSR and PDM) and Healthcare experience
Ability to manage multiple projects requiring coordination between multiple system releases.
Proven experience managing large project teams and sub teams.
Proficient in formal project management methodologies.
Experienced and highly proficient in vendor management.
Excellent understanding of risk management and mitigation.
Requirements management and scope containment skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolutions skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
BCBSM experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
PMP certification preferred
