is seeking a Product Manager

to join our Subscriptions Technology team within the Digital & Technology organization. This role will work within the product model, collaborating with product teams and key stakeholders to develop a plan and business objectives for their product teams within the Subscriptions capabilities that include TV and music streaming, internet security and productivity subscriptions, protection products and other subscription types. The Subscriptions Product Manager will focus on Subscription Management.

The Product Manager is responsible for delivering value by meeting user (customer/employee) needs, driving positive business results, and supporting enterprise strategies. This role requires significant product management experience in order to effectively manage products with moderate scope and complexity to define product vision, intention map, and define quarterly objectives and key results in partnership with the product team(s), their product leaders and key stakeholders. They are responsible for sprint/backlog management and must understand and utilize key customer and business metrics to inform their priorities and be accountable for making final decisions on delivery scope.

The Product Manager is also responsible for ensuring there are continuous feedback loops with their users (customers/employees) and supporting discovery practices that effectively inform their priorities and how they advance against the product vision. The Product Manager will innovate with purpose; demonstrating the test/learn/iterate mindset. They will promote progress over perfection; accept failure but not repeat mistakes.

This role is the “voice of the product” to all product stakeholders, ensuring goals are met and teams are aligned in supporting product goals by encouraging open exchange of information, building strong relationships across the enterprise, driving transparency, collaboration and alignment. This role requires strategic understanding of the relevant Subscriptions and Enterprise roadmap and is the visionary for the product to meet current and future customer needs. It is critical that this role keeps the customer and employee at the forefront of solution creation. The Product Manager will always demonstrate empathy for the customer and will steer discussions on how to build customer trust.

The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with enterprise teams to assess impacts to strategies and processes to define and execute change management strategies for successful adoption of the product(s). Lastly, this role will inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the enterprise’s direction by fostering a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome obstacles aligning to the related P&L impacts.

Minimum Requirements:

2 years' experience in a product management/development capacity (Dev, UX, Strategy, etc.), delivering capabilities and managing roadmaps preferably in a retail organization

2 years’ relevant experience in strategy creation, customer-focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership preferably in a retail organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to articulate clear and concise specifications for new products and new features with a strong affinity towards the developer community. Understands at a high level the landscape of tools and technologies that developers use to bring products to market.

Ability to prioritize new feature launches based on competitive analysis, industry trends, emerging technologies, and company vision. Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles with large teams to achieve a common goal.

Experience with varied production methodologies such as Agile development, Waterfall and/or Lean Development. Progressive experience leading larger and more complex areas; with larger budgets.

Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate a strategy at every level of the organization. Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams.

Proven ability to influence cross-functional team(s) without formal authority.

Understanding and working knowledge of Retail strategies and complexities.

Experience with financial concepts and financial/budget management.

Ability to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flows. Important to have or be able to develop an understanding of the technology stack and most importantly having the ability to understand the level of effort involved to assist with making important decisions for their product team(s).

Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
