Equity Media names Foster as general manager

Katherine Foster has been promoted to general manager of Equity Media Corporation’s Ft. Myers/Naples WUVF/Univision and WLZE/Telefutura stations. The honor is in recognition of her incredible service to the company. As Equity Media’s leading national account executive, Foster was instrumental in introducing the stations to new major national advertisers. The new general manager comes to Equity Media from Univision Spot Sales, where she was serving as an account executive in the Atlanta office. Speaking of the new development, Thomas M. Arnost, president and CEO of Equity Broadcast Station Group, stated that Foster’s established competency in sales and marketing and her relationship-building skills would help her in the new position. Equity Media Holdings Corporation is a leading owner and operator of television stations in the United States.

Xtiva Financial Systems appoints Andrew Peterson as new VP of technology

Xtiva Financial Systems has hired Andrew Peterson as its new vice president of technology. In his new position, Peterson will be responsible for all technology functions including product management and development, quality assurance, data center operations, and IT/ networking. Prior to joining Xtiva, Peterson served the engineering division of Adomo as its vice-president. Peterson’s extensive experience and expertise in building and managing enterprise software development is crucial for Xtiva’s future, said William Lieberman, CEO of Xtiva Financial Systems. For future growth, the firm will require more professional and experienced leadership, Lieberman added. Xtiva Financial Systems is a well-known supplier of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to the brokerage industry.

Aricent hires Mike Webb as VP and CIO of Aricent

Mike Webb has been appointed as vice president and chief information officer (CIO) of Aricent, a full-service, full-spectrum communications-software company. In his new position, Webb will head the worldwide information technology function across all of Aricent’s global locations. In his new role, he will try to ensure flexible and speedy delivery to customers through effective e-business strategies. With more than 25 years of proven experience coupled with strong leadership skills and demonstrated success, Webb is viewed as an invaluable asset to Aricent’s senior management team.
