Resident Manager Jobs description
The resident manager inspects and reports individual apartment damages and vacates the residences in times of calamities. He also assists the Apartment Manager in an annual inspection of all apartments which do not turn over in a calendar year to insure the proper maintenance of each unit. The resident manager should mediate conflicts or disputes between tenants and inform the Family Housing Office of issues in progress. The resident manager works closely with the Family Housing Association in sorting out minor residential issues related to infrastructure and housing discrepancies. The resident manager oversees use of community room or other shared facilities, coordinates property maintenance, and investigates and resolves tenant complaints and issues. He also prepares necessary reports and supervises the on-site staff.The resident manager job candidate should at least be educated till high school level. At least 3 years experience managing a large apartment complex, subsidized housing experience is preferred. A Real Estate license or college level property management course work is preferred.
