Property Manager Jobs description
The property manager keeps properties occupied with qualified tenants through advertising, lead follow up, property showings for prospective tenants. He has to develop rental agreements, select qualified tenants, collect deposits and rents, enforce terms of rental agreements, and resolve tenant complaints. The property manager might have to oversee eviction proceedings if necessary. The property manager has to take care of facilities management, schedule maintenance, and repairs, negotiate contracts with vendors, regularly inspect property to ensure it is in good working order, and quickly resolve emergency maintenance issues. The property manager keeps financial records from property operations, creates monthly financial reports for property owner. He is responsible of the physical condition of property and financial issues.The job requirements for the post of the property manager are that:
- He should be familiar with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- He should possess strong interpersonal & business communication skills.
- He should also have high level of organization and attention to detail.
