Nurse Manager Jobs description

Nurse Managers comprise the largest group of nurses and healthcare workers in the US. Nurse Managers are the primary points of contact between doctors and patients. Nurse Managers have several duties related to disease prevention, maintenance of health and hygiene, providing patient care, and administering medication. Nurse Managers also perform evaluations and are usually the first people who notice problems or raise concerns over patients’ progress. Nurse Managers work in different situations. For instance, nurse managers who train critical care nurses work in intensive care units, and those who train psychiatric nurses treat patients with mental health disorders.

There are three major educational paths for becoming a nurse manager: a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN), an associate\'s degree in nursing (ADN), and a nursing diploma. Job candidates might need ample experience of about 10 years as a nurse practitioner to become a nurse manager.
