SUPERVISOR OF ASSESSMENTS
Full Time Position, Ford County, Paxton, IL.
Term: 4 years from date of appointment
The Ford County Board is seeking qualified
applicants for the position of Supervisor of
Assessments. The Supervisor of Assessments is
responsible for all activities related to real
property assessments as required by the Illinois
Property Tax Code and also oversees the
county’s computerized GIS mapping system.
To be eligible, the successful applicant must
meet all the qualifications in the Property Tax
Code (35 ILCS 200/3-5):
- 2 years of experience in the field of
property sales, assessments, finance or
appraisals;
- Possess wither a CIAO or CAE or other
qualified designation and be current with
continuing education requirements as
prescribed by the designating association;
and Pass an examination conducted by
IDOR.
- Must pass a background check according
to the current Ford County Handbook.
