The Manager of Facilities Management is responsible to lead the initiative to support the achievement of regulatory agency standards and requirements in regards to life safety and environment of care and to assist the Engineering and Facilities Director in miscellaneous matters as required. Role Accountabilities Include: Providing technical expertise in all facets of compliance with AHCA, Joint Commission, CMS, and other applicable regulatory compliance agencies.Analyzes data for trends and patterns; develops and implements strategies to improve processes.Participate in Pre-Construction and infection control risk assessment review process and ensures completion of any necessary action plans.Provides direct oversight of maintenance, testing, and inspection of fire alarm and water based suppression systems. Acts as an active member of Environment of Care committee and completes any assigned tasks and/or opportunities.Develops, implements and monitors performance improvement plans to ensure compliance and address performance improvement opportunitiesPerforms duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, and recognized professional, quality, patient safety, environmental and infection control standards.','!*!Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate or G.E.D. required. Five years of related building maintenance
experience in the healthcare industry.
Training/Experience:
Hospital experience required. Thorough knowledge and comprehensive
experience in all phases of maintenance work such as plumbing, electrical,
mechanical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
Working knowledge of
Life Safety, Emergency Management, and applicable healthcare Codes.
Knowledge of standards with The Joint Commission, AHCA,
CMS and behavioral health environments.
Critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive
judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. Strong
