Description

The Director, Strategy Advancement will influence strategy for the Home Solution organization, as well as throughout the enterprise, as we look to bring more care into the home, specifically acute care. This individual will coordinate Strategic Direction, Budget, and External Relationships with VP Home Solutions, and have full autonomy over key operational activities in regards to workforce, prioritization of work, and the tools and processes to support the strategic direction. The Director, Strategy Advancement will be required to have and obtain unique knowledge of the industry that will allow them to guide the company on expectations of the level of acuity that can be delivered in the home. This individual will also help develop an enterprise approach to operationalize multiple acute care in the home programs undertaken and processes to support them.

Responsibilities

The Director, Strategy Advancement will be responsible for multiple market launches throughout the country, policy design with hospital at home, integration with home assets and Digital Health & Analytics (DH&A). The individual will also:


Oversee budget, performance metrics, operational processing and oversight, post utilization impact, provider impact, market integration, and member experience
Lead provider meeting work in markets as we look to expand acute care in the home and partnerships
Manage several non-Humana associates through vendor management.
Oversee several Humana members indirectly in a matrix approach, specifically with DH&A, other home assets (Heal, Kindred, Humana at Home), Centerwell and the Retail Segment
Determine future market expansion with minimal oversight
Lead team of direct reports and project manager


Required Qualifications


Master's Degree
8 or more years of technical experience
5 or more years of management experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Knowledge of healthcare industry/acute care industry
Strategic knowledge and strategic deployment
Previous vendor management
Knowledge of hospital at home


Additional Information


This is a remote US-based position
There will be 15 - 20% travel expectations
