As leading member of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. ANZ team, you will be responsible for building revenue and relationships across Programmatic, Performance & Brand channels with our targeted Agency, Advertiser and ATD (trading desk) partners. While managing a book of business for the region, you will work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Business Development, Technical Operations, Business Analysts, & Creative Services) to ensure appropriate revenue growth.
As the
Country Manager
, you will be a very strong entrepreneurial leader, responsible for building revenue and relationships across Programmatic, Performance & Brand channels with our Agency, Advertiser & ATD partners. You will also participate in and actively shape **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s ANZ sales strategy, go-to-market and execution plan & sales team management including meeting and exceeding revenue targets, quarterly targets and strategic objectives. You will be a key member of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s team, actively shaping the business with your expertise, skills and leadership.
You're a solution seller who can understand complex problems and importantly have experience in identifying different ways to go about solving for them. You should ideally have worked in cross functional roles and have the ability to develop close strategic relationships with clients, by clearly articulating data and insights. You would operate with a high degree of autonomy and be expected to effectively manage/ be accountable for pipeline management. The role would be expected to participate in exec level revenue reporting as well as quarterly/ annual planning exercises for the portfolio of accounts assigned.
The role will be based in Sydney, reporting to the VP & MD for APAC and we operate a hybrid working style.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development & implementation of the regional sales plan and strategy, working closely with other cross-functional teams
Identify and close strategic advertising partnerships to ensure long term success for the company
Develop and grow repeat business, manage relationships to achieve quarterly revenue and monetization targets
Must have or quickly develop senior-most agency relationships at C-Level/ Director/ Head levels in region and by market
Work cross-functionally to articulate and develop new advertising opportunities that meet the needs of buyers and demand sources.
Communicate effectively internally to align resources (product, engineering, business operations etc.) to help meet and exceed advertisers’ needs that are critical to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’ s success
Entrepreneurial, self-motivating attitude and ability to lead a team positively
Coach & mentor existing sales team and proactively problem solve around any challenges. Actively drive hiring of new sales team members & be responsible for full ramp-up/ training
What do we require from you
10 years of total experience required, with 5 years of digital media sales. Exposure to mobile advertising preferred
5 years of team management experience
Strong network of senior-level relationships across agencies and advertisers in Sydney Brisbane
Proven ability to build sales strategies and drive sales pipeline to closures, to consistently exceed revenue targets
High-energy and passionate self-starter with strong analytical skills who’s extremely comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
Proven ability to solve customer problems and technical issues, pro-actively creating solutions through cross-functional collaboration
BSc/ BA required; MBA preferred
Ideal candidates must possess
Must haves:
Exceptional analytical skills, high level of comfort with data and a creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to distil key business insights from data
Strong Sales Experience & proven versatility in problem solving with extensive contacts across the industry in Agencies/ ATD, Ad-Tech &/ or Advertisers
Excellent communication & analytical mindset with a strong understanding of the digital ad marketplace
Proven success of having managed a high-performance team
Should have:
Prior client facing experience while owning revenue management for a product/ business line/ account/ geography
Ability to work across different global cultures and in a matrix style environment.
Intermediate/ Advanced knowledge of MS Excel skills/ PowerPoint
