Position Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Compensation and Mobility, the Sr. Manager, Compensation will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and administration of Under Armour’s Global Compensation programs for UA’s Retail and Distribution House business units. The Sr. Manager, Compensation will serve as a trusted advisor across our Global Retail and Distribution House business unit leadership team(s) and HR partners contributing to the organization’s global compensation programs through external trends, benchmarking, and best practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Leads the design, development and administration of all Global Retail and DH compensation programs
Develops timelines, collaborates with internal and external constituents, and oversees all processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of each compensation program
Leads the process related to ad-hoc surveys and market research to stay up-to-date with market trends
Evaluate and provide recommendations and influence decision-making on business changes requiring expertise and analysis (e.g., new hire compensation, specialized programs, retention programs, etc.)
Strategically assess the effectiveness of current total rewards programs in achieving organizational objectives identifies best practices and benchmarks; develops recommendations for modifications to align to HR strategy and business goals
Responsible for upholding the global total rewards philosophy to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization
Develops creative solutions to compensation-related challenges that balance business considerations with retention and engagement objectives


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)


Experience in design and implementation of compensation structures across multiple geographies
Proven leadership skills
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Consultative and collaborative style that allows for influence without authority
Ability to operate in a face-paced environment with competing priorities
Flexible and comfortable to roll-up your sleeves, used to being hands-on
Extraordinary communication skills – both oral and written
Serve in a business and though partner to various levels of the organization
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail


Education And / Or Experience


Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 8-10 years of compensation experience, additional experience in human resources or compensation consulting preferred
Compensation leadership experience in a large, global publicly traded company


Other Requirements


Location: This position is fully remote
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred


Salary & Relocation


No relocation provided
Base Compensation Range: $138,238.00 - $190,076.70
