Position duties include but are not limited to:

Coordinates internal and external resources to perform project management activities necessary to successfully complete assignments from proposal to completion to include planning, implementing, and following through with all necessary phases of the process including research, budget considerations, contracts, certifications.

Coordinates daily operations and activities for work areas, providing positive leadership, direction and support for team members, coordinating work while evaluating performance to maintain efficient and effective process workflow, and service excellence standards.

Direct supervision of staff. Consistent positive communication with internal and external customers including internal departments, administration, physicians, patients, insurance providers, public to provide quality and efficient service. Accesses and reviews confidential patient healthcare information in the resolution of issues and in the enhancement of processes and services. Accurate revenue cycle processes are required for facility reimbursement and professional reimbursement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience required

Experience: Minimum of five years Revenue Cycle Management experience in the areas of insurance billing, customer service, cash processing, finance, technical responsibilities or closely related experience required. Demonstrated project management expertise required. Human relation and effective communication skills, excellent organizational skills and multitasking required.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Participation in professional organizations required:

Certification: EPIC Profiency or Certification (obtained within 6 months of employment)

Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent leadership, team building, and employee development skills. Well organized and detail oriented. Ability to relate professionally with people, analytical abilities, compose letters/memorandum, coordinate events, motivate others, organizational skills, research information, time management, train employees, written and verbal communications, supervisory skills. Detail oriented, with proven time management skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
