Job Overview
My client a global leader in the dairy and food nutrition industry is looking for a new Warehouse Manager due to the retirement of a 40 year veteran.
They are looking for a leader with strong people management skills to come in and manage a team of around 30 staff dealing with health and safety, productivity and efficiency.
This job will entail but is not limited to:
Management of a diverse team and handle any HR matters
Implement and drive lean techniques and culture
Limit waste and spoilage of product
Ensure all health and safety standards are met both for the staff and the food products
In order to perform well in this job, you should have:
3-5 years in a management position, preferably in the FMCG market or chilled warehouse
Third level degree in supply chain or logistics related discipline would be an advantage
Positive, self driven and result orientated outlook on work
Strong communication skills as well as good attention to detail
Be computer literate and have a good understanding of Excel
The facility is a 24/7 operation, but this role is a Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
position (40hrs a week NO WEEKENDS OR SHIFTS!
) and is based within a commutable distance from Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim and Roscommon. This position will offer you plenty of opportunity to move up and room for progression is there for the right person. For your hard work and dedication, you will receive a generous salary between €55 - €65k PA along with a contributory pension.
