Job Summary

We are seeking entrepreneurial and creative individuals to help build an in-house advertising and communications function for our Xfinity products and services. The in-house agency will be primarily based in New York City. This group will produce creative content for all channels, including TV, digital, social, radio, in-store, print as well as extensive video production for various on-line and in-house needs. As a Associate Director Studio Production, you will oversee, support, and manage the delivery of art production projects to the highest standard possible. You are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work assigned to production designers, working across project and creative teams, aligning with resource management, managing retouching process, and working closely with project management. Specifically, most days you:

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Manage:


Manage 8 studio production designer team (FTE & contractors)
Track projects from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines are met with project managers
Retouching and print vendor relationships, estimates, timing, status, and file management
Manage communication across peers and build relationships


Collaborate:


Participate in daily/weekly project status meetings to ensure designer resourcing is accurate and prioritize the work. Work with PMs to address any challenges to meet deadlines and work on solutions to meet them
Work closely with creative design teams to solve design and configuration problems
Work on future vision of team by staying up-to-date in the best of best of industry standards and innovations
Work closely with resourcing team to assign and align on the work
Work with Asset Management and Brand Design team to help curate image libraries, artwork, and branding assets. Ensure files are stored and named according to naming conventions.
Work with Print Producers to align on project deliveries and vendor management communications


Oversee:


Project retouching and printing estimates with vendors
Review trafficked proofs through WF and vendors to provide feedback with main production designers on project to provide guidance
Oversee production design:Color proofing and color management, aesthetics/appearance, brand guidelines, inventory management, quality control, and processes across all media for print, OOH, retail, digital.


You Bring:


Minimum of 10 years' experience working within an in-house agency, agency, or relevant experience as a Creative Production Manager, Studio Manager, Sr. Graphic Designer Lead, Creative Services Manager
Comprehensive knowledge in production process for print, OOH, retail, digital, retouching, mechanicals
Excellent communication/customer service skills and solid supervisory/leadership experience

Proficient in all Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign/Illustrator/Photoshop), Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Microsoft 365 Suite Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), Workfront
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

Salary:

Pay Range: $123,103.89 - $184,655.83

Additional Range: This job can be performed in California, with a Pay Range of $117,974.56 USD - $176,961.84 USD
