Position Summary

As part of the opening of our new Brand House store, you will be responsible for the implementation of our standards of operational excellence and merchandising. You will lead the recruitment and management of a team capable of exceeding sales and profitability targets while providing our customers with a unique experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Own the service culture and customer experience
Lead and model the customer experience principles for store team; ensure store service/selling culture is representative of the Under Armour brand
Maintain all standards covering merchandise and floor sets
Oversee all areas of inventory control; manage store shrink performance within outlined expectations
Where applicable, coach and empower the Assistant Store Manager (ASM)
Manage total store talent - seasonal hiring needs, anticipated turn; recruit and deploy to ensure store is
optimally staffed at all times
In partnership with Retail Operations Team and local HR, own total team skill capability through robust onboarding and continuous training
Provide timely and constructive feedback to the Retail Operations team in all facets of store operations
Manage store payroll to optimize business results; ensure staff scheduling meet the needs of the business
Compile customer feedback on product and communicate to Retail Operations team
Ensure compliance with all UA policies and procedures

Meet and exceed all team and individual performance objectives and metrics set
Exhibit a professional and positive attitude and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.


Education And / Or Experience


3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with an international sports or technical brand. First experience opening a store, training other teams or participating in improvement projects or new concept rollouts.
Proven managerial experience and perfect mastery of commercial operations, visual merchandising standards, inventory management and risk management and store safety.
Customer service skills, team spirit, interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, ability to make decisions based on indicators, human and ethical qualities, sense of continuous improvement, sense of responsibility and ability to empower the team.
