About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven professional to join the leadership of our global Procurement Team. The candidate will take up the responsibility of leading and scaling the indirect procurement function to support the rapid growth of the business. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who can transform the current tactical focused purchasing function to a best-in-class indirect procurement function with both strategic capabilities and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the indirect purchasing team to ensure superior customer services offered to internal users on purchasing requests
Serve as the SME for purchasing processes and drives campaigns for internal user training and compliance
Lead continuous improvements, automations to improve efficiencies and policy compliances
Work with key stakeholders to develop roadmaps for key commodity categories and procurement systems & technologies
Develop enterprise-wide category strategies with respective business leads; Understand demand patterns, market dynamics and key players for major commodity categories.
Align resources to drive the implementation of category strategies and strategic sourcing indicatives
Develop relationship with key suppliers and manage supplier performances
Build up a high performing indirect procurement team; grow talents and leaderships on the team
Required Skills and Background:
Bachelor's Degree
8 years of experience in procurement operations and strategic sourcing
Prior experience in developing and implementing category strategies and sourcing efforts for indirect procurement areas such as R&D, CapEx, IT, Marketing, Facilities and Services
Prior experience in leading and growing teams
Effective communicator with ability to influence at all levels
Strong business acumen and comfortable to make effective decisions in ambiguity
Strong strategic mindset and analytic skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data to drive insights and recommendations
Comprehensive knowledge on contract commercial terms and ability to lead supply agreement negotiations independently
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and juggle shifting priorities and tight timelines
