Enterprise Group's Director of Platform Management is an entrepreneurial and innovative leader responsible for designing, prioritizing and supporting multiple platform projects that connects Schwab Advisor Services' custodial data, products and capabilities to Advisor users. The position is also responsible for creating and delivering a cohesive long-term strategic platform vision that gives Schwab Advisor Services a sustainable competitive advantage with large independent Advisors.
What you are good at
Responsibilities include leading client user-group forums to understand current and future needs, designing technology platform roadmaps, creating and presenting compelling business cases to obtain investment funding, sales, marketing, project management, strategic planning, negotiation, innovation and leadership.
The Director of Platform Management has a strong working knowledge of custodial platforms and how they can be leveraged to deliver value to meet the current and future needs of large, growth oriented independent Advisor firms. This position will collaborate with four different stakeholders; Enterprise Advisors that use Schwab Advisor Services, internal product managers/business consultants tasked with driving product/technology adoption rates, internal strategy teams who create technology roadmaps and technology development teams who build client applications.
The role will spend 60% of the time with internal stakeholders and 40% of the time with external stakeholders such as Enterprise clients. External client facing responsibilities will include leading client user groups to gain actionable insights and working with individual Enterprise clients to understand and meet their unique strategic objectives.
What you have
Developing a deep understanding of clients' current and future unmet needs utilizing industry trends, data, client interviews, SWOT analysis and leading client user groups.
Problem solving using solution-based approaches to redefine client challenges and identify alternative strategies and solutions that might not be instantly apparent.
Storytelling with internal and external stakeholders to inspire opportunities, build credibility for an investment and highlight how new ideas and solutions will drive value.
Creating and presenting detailed short and long-term platform roadmaps that deliver stated results that are aligned with business objectives.
Prioritizing the needs of multiple internal and external constituents to deliver outcomes that clients find valuable while simultaneously creating internal scale and efficiencies.
Developing a trusted advisor relationship with existing clients by establishing credibility at all levels of the organization, including C-level executives.
Meeting time deadlines while juggling multiple initiatives.
Clearly communicating the progress of projects and platform roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrating a superior understanding of the features and benefits of Schwab products, technologies and platform.
Working with leadership to provide additional enhancements, training materials, and resources to help our clients become more self-sufficient.
Staying abreast of the independent Advisor marketplace, fintech technologies, competitor platforms and how they compare against our offer.
Colorado Compensation
Target Total Compensation - 123,300 - 220,400
