Job Details:

SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and direction for the Tyson Travel Program. This includes the management of a team of travel professionals and the 3rd party travel program administrator to achieve financial and business objectives as established with the SVP of Purchasing, Senior Leadership, and business units.

Other responsibilities include: develop qualified and effective Team Members; achieve financial objectives and key metrics; maintain a successful travel agency solution and meetings management program; build comprehensive strategies at the category level & execute the sourcing process, and develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to analyze travel data, produce required reporting to include internal and external KPI’s, analyze trends and provide recommendations to maximize overall travel program value while ensuring traveler safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelors degree required.

Experience: 5 plus years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Corporate Travel Management

Computer Skills: Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Communication Skills: Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Strong attention to detail, experience developing and executing long-term strategies

Supervisory: This position will have direct reports.

Travel: May require 6 or more domestic trips per year
