About the role

Within the Buying, Planning & Merchandising department of PVH South-West Hub, we are looking for a Wholesale Planning Manager for our brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. The scope is multi-channel, with a focus on Department Stores and developments on multi-brands.
 

You will work internationally for the Hub zone, with a focus on France and Belgium, and in collaboration with other services for Spain and Portugal.

The key missions are to plan buying budgets, to anticipate business trends and build up strategic recommendations.
 

You manage a team of 3 Planners in order to do so.
 

The position includes various strategic activities :
 

GET A 360° UNDERSTANDING OF THE BUSINESS

- Work hand-in-hand with Finance & Business dpts regarding sell-out targets

- Understand and quantify how many styles/ options a corner can hold and how the product is divided across floors with VM teams

- Keep in touch with Buyers and Wholesale Key Account Managers to understand product trends

- Ask for in-season feedback from Merchandisers and Area managers across the countries in order to understand better the figures and give your comments about it
- Discuss with Amsterdam central team calculated budgets, option plan and depth
 

MANAGE BUYING BUDGETS

- Make strategic decisions by choosing the balance between genders, labels, and product groups, figure out the best season mix and other Planning KPIs

- Present budgets to Key Account Managers and to Department Stores Buyers and be part of negotiations

- Update your planned budgets and build forecasts in order to give guidelines on how to conduct the season

- Check that reorder and discount envelopes are respected

- Be the go-to Planning person for store development: you are involved very ahead of all opening & refit projects in order to plan the needed mixes

BE A BUSINESS PARTNER

- Be creative ! Challenge current reports and build you own dashboards in order to have a clear, synthetic vision of the business

- Be analytical ! Deep dive into figures and field feedback in order to conclude insights and identify levers for improvement

- Speak-up ! Summarize your recommendations and initiate meetings to involve teams and trigger action plans.

These 360° missions can vary all along the season and according to Management requests.

About the team
 
You will report to the Senior Buying and Planning Manager, and will work closely with all the teams within PVH. We believe that team spirit is essential and we are convinced that rigor and good humor are totally compatible!

About You

With a Bac + 5 or equivalent diploma, you can have experience in a similar position of at least 4/5 years within Fashion/Retail Industry.

You will be the key contact for Wholesale Planning within PVH South West Hub and will have frequent contacts with the global Planning team located in Amsterdam.

As such, we are looking for a personality with excellent interpersonal skills, a sense of communication, a taste for challenge and a culture of results. Knowing how to anticipate, be reactive and force proposals are key skills.

This position required a synthetic, analytic & data mindset and to drive a technical and business vision of the activity.
 

You are an expert of the office pack and especially of Excel that you will use on a daily basis.

French and English are mandatory both speaking and writing. You will use daily these 2 languages for your communications.
