Only Medtronic has the complete Diabetes portfolio to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution from MDI to Smart Insulin Pens to Automated Insulin Delivery. This team and leader will be responsible for creating the vision, strategy, and portfolio that leverages Medtronics legacy of leadership in the Automated Insulin Delivery space while also expanding patient therapy through new digital platforms and tools.
The Sr. Marketing Director of Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) will determine product strategy, portfolio, and cadence while leading all phases of marketing activities to include: opportunity assessment, business plan, Marketing Requirements (MRD), and CTM. Additionally, the Sr. Marketing Director AID will support global downstream for launch and maintenance, consult with Business Development and Sales on white space opportunities and play a key role in developing teams while driving functional excellence.
This leader and their team will be accountable for driving change across the organization globally to continually improve the patient experience. They will also be charged with developing Medtronics ability to serve patients in both the Type 1 and fast growing Type 2 Diabetes space. This leader will ensure teams collaborate across business functions, consistently driving for process improvement to enable the delivery of great end-to-end user and patient experience.
**Responsibilities:**
Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).
Leads and coordinates product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities.
Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities.
Lead activities and cross functional teams in the development of new and adjacent markets for Diabetes products and therapies.
Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.
Identifies unmet customer requirements and new business opportunities and provides vision and focus to move products from idea to market place.
Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.
Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
Bachelors Degree and minimum of 15 years of experience that may be a combination of marketing, finance, PMO, research or business development, 10 years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 13 years of experience that may be a combination of marketing, finance, PMO, research or business development with 10 years of managerial experience.

Experience in business and/or proforma modeling and/or Intrinsic value
