This is a leadership position within the North America Premium Accounting Operations organization. This Manager is responsible for the Direct Bill and 3rd Party processes and leads a team of 8 colleagues. The Manager also provides guidance, support and direction to an offshore (BPO) team of 14 colleagues. The responsibility of the Direct Bill team is to allocate revenue once payment is received from the Insurance Markets and to resolve discrepancies. The 3rd Party team works incoming and outgoing settlements with Aon Global Entities and external 3rd Parties. Involvement in and execution of strategic process initiatives is critical to this role. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Partners with the Operations Director to identify knowledge, skill and abilities required for PASC leadership roles; identifies associates with leadership potential; create development and succession plans for key associatesResponsible for the planning and execution of strategic business objectives in partnership with the Operations Director, including development of departmental goalsPossesses the ability to represent the Operations Director as appropriateResponsible for day-to-day management of approximately 10-15 associates (both exempt and non-exempt)Perform Human Resources responsibilities (resolve issues, track attendance, address personnel issues, conduct performance appraisals and conduct interviews)Coach, mentor and train associate staffEnsures company and division policies are communicated and supportedManage team performance to achieve established goalsIdentify process deficiencies and recommend improvementsResponsible for escalated complex customer service issues as identified by Aon field offices and/or partner insurance carriersConduct monthly individual associate meetings/bi-weekly team meetingsPerform analyses of quality assurance resultsPeriodic travel may be requiredPerform other duties as assigned Education Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDBachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school; or eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience Requirements:8 years of related work experience, including direct supervision of staff, with 3-5 years of insurance experience preferredAn understanding of basic accounting preferred Competency Requirements: CriticalFosters teamwork: Works well with others in a group, cooperates with others, offers to help when needed, and fosters a team climate within the group.Communicates effectively with others: speaks and writes in a clear and concise manner to coworkers, supervisors and customers.Suggests and embraces improvement and drives for results: makes suggestions to improve quality in processes, work flow and tasks and champions corporate/office initiatives; driving above and beyond the status quo.Plans & organizes: sets priorities, plans and coordinates work activities, and obtains and manages resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time.Acts with integrity: demonstrates consistency between words and behavior; consistently behaves in a manner that maintains and enhances Aon’s reputation for ethical dealings; commits to and accepts accountability for results, obligations and standards of conduct; and has the courage to speak up for clients, employees, and Shareholders interests.Commitment to client service: proactively assesses, identifies, and responds to the needs of internal clients, ensures they are addressed quickly and accurately.
