Description

CenterWell is committed to its patients, team members and the community at large. We are an organization representing physicians, practices, clinicians, and patients across the states of North and South Carolina, Kansas City, Kansas and Las Vegas, Nevada. CenterWell is seeking a dedicated and compassionate contracting executive who is interested in being part of a team that focuses on excellence and service to others.

Responsibilities


Oversee Ancillary network contracting efforts for all managed entities under CenterWell Primary Care.
Work closely with Market Operations and Utilization Management leaders in each Market on complex network challenges to support the development of strategic objectives.
Drive project management, analysis of data, and strategic contract performance improvement initiatives.
Act as an operational and strategic advisor, partnering with stakeholders from other business areas on special projects.
Act as subject matter expert as it relates to the development of specialty network contracts.
Analyze contract performance and provide evaluation on all existing contracts.
Build and maintain PCP/Specialist relationships.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or relevant field required; MBA or master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
Prior healthcare provider or health plan contracting, contract operations or provider relations experience.
Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial trends in the provider contracting
Excellent negotiation skills with track record of results
Strong attention to detail.
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Excellent in written and verbal communication skills and may require making group presentations.


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree
Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting
Value based contracting experience


Additional Information


Position is remote work-at-home
Travel is required (50% of the time)
