Description
The Associate Director, Strategy Advancement provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for EIP ( Enterprise Information Protection segments or the company at large. The Associate Director, Strategy Advancement requires a solid understanding of how EIP organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).
Responsibilities
The Associate Director, Strategy Advancement leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis to improve, automate, or streamline processes. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function with a focus on continuous improvement, process engineering, and lean management. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s), and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates. In this role you will:
Lead process team in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities.
Develop new process capabilities in line with industry best practices and trends (example, Robotics Process Automation)
Facilitate the design and implementation of new/improved process models and organizational structures.
Provide technical and analytical support for process improvement initiatives.
Develop process analysis and re-engineering to improve efficiency, lower costs and improve product quality.
Define repeatable process to measure reduction in waste in the environment.
Train and guide resources in process improvement techniques.
Manage and lead process team to achieve desired results.
Perform project management, analytics, and measure to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved.
Coordinate with various teams to analyze project results and performance.
Identify and manage resources to deliver effective solutions.
Ensure that the team works in accordance with the approved company operating policies, procedures, practices and methods
Above all else, foster and model a collaborative team environment driven to build phenomenal solutions while having fun
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree
Functional expertise in Information Security
10 years in Portfolio/Program management, process design and improvement while using Lean principles and methods
Expert knowledge of implementing Lean-Agile to new and existing teams
Proven leadership and motivational skills
High level of energy and engagement
Strong written and oral communication skills
