Job Summary

This leadership position will contribute to company revenue and market share growth. This role is responsible for managing a Luxury/Resort portfolio. The focus of this role is to maximize hotel top line, drive premium market share and develop Luxury/Resort ways of working to further implement across APAC. This role will lead a revenue team who are responsible in implementing strategy across all properties and are expected to engage with regional senior stakeholders and ownership groups. Development of team members by providing direction and feedback on performance will be key. There is an opportunity for this role to expand across various Luxury/Resort portfolios, and additional responsibilities can be expected. This role will report into the Director, RMCC for Southeast Asia.

Job Responsibilities

Driving Commercial Performance – Managing a Luxury/Resort Portfolio

· Effectively manages the team which directly support the revenue function for a Luxury/Resort portfolio and provides training and coaching to current and new employees to improve performance and to meet the current and future needs of the business.

· Drive premium market share (High Weightage - KSP of Commercial Department) for the a Luxury/Resorts portfolio.

· Ensure all Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures are followed to capitalize and maximize revenue potential.

· Serves as a role model of commercial excellence, relationship building and emotional intelligence.

· Utilize systems, tools, and reports in the prescribed way to ensure all revenue management decisions are supported with relevant data analysis.

· Works effectively with RMCC Team members, Hotels (GMs, CDs, RDR and GC&E and on property revenue coordinator), Sales, Marketing, e-commerce to build trusting relationships and ensure incremental financial and revenue management performance (RevPAR, RGI, EBITDA), Ownership on meetings and reporting (All KSP’s).

· Support global and regional projects related to Luxury and Resorts to define the future of Revenue Management across the wider estate.

Developing and Growing a Team of Revenue Management Professionals

· Continuously cultivate a team culture of innovation, improvement and performance whilst focusing on Hilton’s core values by maintaining our Thrive Culture and keeping team members engaged.

· Streamline processes and efficiencies and increase revenue management skill set of teams.

· Carries out regular performance reviews with direct reports to identify risks and development needs.

· Identify training needs within the RMCC and plan development programs to address them.

· Evaluates the impact training is having on the team's skills and business performance within the specialist areas identified.

· Responsible for driving team member engagement and a positive work environment.

· Provide direction and support to direct reports and hold accountable to goal.

Engagement with Regional Key Stakeholders and Owners

· Engages on a regular basis with regional key stakeholders to provide business updates as well as guidance and support of commercial strategies and activities.

· Support RMCC expansion across Asia Pacific by engaging with owners and general managers of prospective and new opening hotels.

· Ensure that relevant hotel and above-hotel commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement optimal strategies and controls.

· Integrate with other functions and building cross-functional relationships to drive business opportunities and ensure we exceed our customer’s, owners, and shareholder expectations.

· Assess and communicate performance of hotels in portfolio to RMCC and Regional leadership.

· Join regular ownership meetings, provide reports and analysis as prescribed in SLA.

Direct Reports

· Revenue Specialists or Cluster Revenue Managers based on business needs and portfolio expansion beyond initial Maldives Resort.

· Indirectly support any on-property revenue or reservations team members.

What are we looking for?

Required Qualifications

· Experience in managing a Luxury/Resort portfolio of properties.

· Experience in managing key hotels/business assets.

· Excellent English communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.

· Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internal and external.

· Positive, open-minded, and ready for fast-paced and changing environment.

· Clear, concise, logical, and factual in making arguments and decisions.

· Ability to recognize trends in data and evaluate complex written and numerical information effectively and efficiently.

· Ability to prioritize and balance importance, urgency, and resources.

· Determined and energetic, whilst remaining calm and sensible to deliver results.

· Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills.

· Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

· Self-motivated and driven to take initiative on projects and communication.

· Experience in managing a team of subordinates is preferred.

· Require: Bachelor’s Degree with 3 -5 years related experience

- Preferred: Master’s Degree with 5-7 years related experience
