James Lewis are currently assisting a key client in their search for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a family owned and run M&E Contractor based near Guildford, who have been well established for over 50 years. During this period they have developed a strong reputation across the installation and maintenance of heating and cooling systems across London and the South East.
They have been fortunate to have built an enviable and loyal team of professionals across systems design, installation, operation and maintenance on a range of projects which include, commercial, industrial, education, residential, social housing and healthcare ranging in value up to 5m.
As the latest member to the team you will be managing a variety of projects typically of smaller values up to 500k, with a combined portfolio of up to circa 2m in value at any given time.
To be considered you will need to:
Demonstrate the ability to take a project through to handover
Be used to handling the programming, managing the finances and variation accounts
Management of all elements of H&S
Have strong man–management skills with the ability to get the most out of your team
Be client facing and as such comfortable with client liaison/being the main point of contact
Ensuring handover with final accounts and ensure that all O&Ms are completed
The position will consist of a combination of office, site and home working with sites located in and around central London, including parts of Surrey so very much a hybrid role.
In return your will be remunerated up to 70,000 travel, pension, laptop and phone but please note that previous experience on UK–based projects is essential for this this role.
