The FlashBlade team at Pure is building a scale-out all-flash file and object store, designed for the modern world. To really understand how our customers work with data, we are deeply immersed in AI, modern backup, log analytics with Splunk and Elastic, data pipeline with Kafka, cluster computing with Spark, and many more use cases. We are seeking a strategic program manager to help drive cross-functional alignment, while working on innovation projects and key initiatives within the FlashBlade product business unit. What you’ll be doing:
Project manage and prioritize work based on urgency and complexity while building operational cadences across multiple teams to coordinate work
Set priorities, multi-task and work independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
Drive greater consistency of process, practices and execution across BU-wide initiatives and launches
Align necessary cross-functional business strategies to ensure successful execution
Develop & operationalize field-driven focus programs to ensure successful execution
Program manage deliverables and training for 2-3 focus programs per quarter in partnership with FlashBlade sales leadership
Work closely with business and sales leadership to provide regular updates on progress and insights around opportunities to improve
Gather feedback from field teams to inform future programs, present recommendations and conclusions quarterly
Drive coordination and updates for ongoing operational cadences
Work with key stakeholders to coordinate monthly all hands agenda and content
Present exec-level monthly update on focus areas and KPIs across the business
Analyze win/loss data to present business insights regarding quarterly performance against goals and investment areas
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE…
Minimum of 3 years in business strategy role or a combination of experiences across the following: business (GTM) operations, organizational development and program management
Advanced program management capabilities
Astute, well-developed business acumen including proficiency in understanding company financials, key performance metrics and the drivers of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. business and success
Proven track record of building consensus, aligning priorities, supporting decision-making including familiarity with different types of decision-making frameworks
Impeccable interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; experience communicating with business stakeholders at senior levels
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across multiple departments and functions
Strong ability in distilling large amounts of information, arriving at the key ‘net’ conclusions and presenting concise decks in Powerpoint or google slides
Proficient experience manipulating data in excel or google sheets, Salesforce, Tableau
