Job Summary

FreeWheel is looking for a Senior Director of Product Operations to help us evolve our product organization into a highly efficient, highly effective, and highly motivated team by documenting and sharing best practices, facilitating training and knowledge sharing, establishing world class processes within product and alongside other functions, and defining and monitoring the operating cadence of our product organization. In addition, this role will lead a small Product Operations team dedicated to facilitating the ongoing operation and continuous improvement within our product team.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Defines the operating cadence for the Product organization, including key meetings, internal reporting, and interfaces with other parts of the organization

Creates templates for product managers based on internal and external best practices and evangelizes their adoption

Manage critical information systems for the product team including our planning, roadmapping, and knowledge management

Facilitate parts of the strategic planning, OKR setting, and product visioning process

Manage the onboarding and continuous education process for product managers

Develop and deploy change plans including communication, training, and knowledge sharing that evolve the product organization

Work with leaders in the product organization to support their success in designing and delivering great products by defining efficient processes

Facilitate team-wide employee engagement programs and action planning

Sets clear goals and objectives for the product operations team and ensures delivery against them

Provide highly effective growth-oriented people leadership for the product operations team

Oversees the development of repeatable and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency.

Fosters an environment of empowerment, openness, inclusion and objectivity all while striving to deliver solutions that benefit the entire organization.

Works with our HR counterparts and identifies plans for change management, communication and training needs.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

Salary:

Pay Range: $181,143.19 - $271,714.78
