POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Global Product Go to Market and Innovation Team is the heart of an end-to-end transformation of how PVH operates. This strategic team deploys best in class process changes, data insights, predictive analytics, product innovation, and a dedicated approach towards putting our consumers at the center of everything we do. This team takes a holistic approach to product development and innovation to meet our consumer needs by decreasing our time to market, improving the assortment structure, increasing partner collaboration while yielding higher quality product, better strategy and innovation integration and an authentic engagement with cross-functional partners.

At its core, the GTM roadmap is defined by a smarter, shorter, product development calendar. This involves informed creative direction, well founded range development, intimacy with our vendors, collaborating with our wholesale and retail channels, orchestrating our supply chain in tandem with our marketing and deriving actionable consumer insights.

The Underwear Group & CKNA Senior Director GTM & Innovation is responsible for collaborating with cross functional partners to drive the planning, executing, and evaluating of product and innovation initiatives.  Problem solving, facilitating meetings and ensuring quality control are essential elements of this role.

This role is an opportunity for a self-starter to balance both an entrepreneurial and team player mindset. The role allows you to play an integral part driving value to our cross functional partners, supply chain and the business driving product to market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: GTM

  • Responsible for end-to-end product GTM including cross-functional interdependencies to “connect the dots” & challenge functions in their strategic thinking on GTM
  • Drive adherence to the GTM calendar & key milestones across teams including ensuring timely decision making and high degree of preparation with teams
  • Analyze data and track metrics across process via dashboard to drive improved business outcomes and KPI

  • Proactively seek out solutions to potential cross functional issues that may affect the calendar, process and organization
  • Document actions and follow-up for key milestone meetings that impact GTM process improvements
  • Communicate & escalate to senior leadership GTM progress, wins, & pain points
  • Coaches and develops a GTM team that is able to unite cross functional teams and create aligned, efficient processes
  • Lead post-mortem sessions to identify continuous improvement in GTM process
  • Drives the problem solving process: frames problems, guides analytical modeling, and through analysis provides insights into solutions
  • Champion a pipeline of innovation to test & maximize GTM processes
  • Maximize digital transformation opportunities by partnering with TPG to drive initiatives including PLM, 3D, etc.
  • Partners with the Data Governance Organization in the understanding of data integrity & impact to GTM process
  • Identify evolution in the GTM processes as digital solutions are implemented; develop cross functional skillsets and lead change management 
  • Partners with Business Process, the Project Management Office in the planning, execution and controlling of multiple strategic projects with strong analytical focus and understanding of consumer-centric strategies
  • Educate the business on GTM current events & digital industry that could improve business process
  • Coach for functional stakeholders, help them fulfill the role of change sponsor
  • Facilitates meetings and workshops with senior the levels of the organization
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to succinctly communicate and interact with ease and authority with senior leadership
  • Understands and shows passion for the worldwide fashion and retail market in terms of consumer behavior, competitor and industry developments
  • Ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in a challenging, fast-paced rapidly changing environment
  • Decisive, willing to adopt unpopular positions to force consistency across all brands; serve as a change agent process as needed
  • Drive change through leadership engagement.  Influence to improve value chain across enterprise and with global PVH partners

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:                                

  • 10+ plus years’ experience in Supply Chain, strategy, or consulting.
  • Project management, change management and project planning an asset.
  • Prior experience managing GTM process, calendars preferred
  • Experience with researching and implementing digitalization solutions including 3D & PLM (Centric experience preferred)
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, cross-functional, collaborative environment.
  • Supply Chain Optimization or Process Engineering experience preferred
  • Range planning / Merchandising experience preferred
  • Consumer-centric process improvement

Education:  Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred

Skills: 

  • Affinity with lifestyle, fashion and/or consumer facing industries.
  • Affinity with technology, data enablement, digital transformation and the human interaction that is central to their success.
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational company or multi-national consulting firm is preferred
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally, including with senior leadership, strong connecter/motivator
  • Project management, problem structuring, and strategic problem solving skills – Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis/project implementation experience
  • Strategic vision and creative thinking
