POSITION PROFILE:
Seeking a curious, creative, business-minded person with a passion for design and products. The Product Manager will work on all aspects of product line day-to-day management, including product development, product lifecycle planning, analysis, and promotion.
Position requires:
Background in or appreciation for design, furniture, or interior planning
Solid understanding of product management
Ability to establish and maintain multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written skills
A keen attention to detail
Product Marketing Manager will:
Develop and execute product line plans and reports for growth and profitability targets
Define business opportunities for new and existing products within the company portfolio
Assist Product Development Project Managers towards progress of development milestones
Own product positioning and represent portfolio needs in product development
Co-develop and maintain assets for marketing materials including price lists, brochures, website content, training programs, samples, competitive comparisons, product updates
Collaborate with product marketing and channel managers to drive sales across segments and channels
Manage timetable and budgets of planned activities
Provide day-to-day product line education, knowledge and support for sales and customer service
Examine orders and sales, interpret segmentation, regional, channel and component mix structure for product decisions
Provide ongoing product lifecycle insights
Required Skills
BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Design or Liberal arts
Required Experience
Three years of marketing or design related experience
Background in contract furniture or other design-related experience preferred
Strong design sensitivity
Must have experience in working with multi-functional groups and strong project managements skills
Experience with CAD based tools and knowledge of or willingness to learn industry design tools like CET
Balance of qualitative and quantitative analysis, combined with strong intuitive sense
Possess excellent written and oral communications skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage via influence
25 - 30% overnight travel required
Driver’s license
