Description
The Lead, Technology Exams, Audits and Inquiries is responsible for management of formal and informal technology reviews across IT. This involves developing and managing a rigorous process which shapes and liaisons timely, accurate and appropriate responses to regulatory exams, internal and external audits, requests for proposal, security reviews, contract and performance guarantee reviews, and other information requests for IT. This role requires experience in responding to regulatory and/or audit exams, a strong understanding of SOX/SOC, advanced writing skills, and a keen ability to identify trends, risks and issues through the various types of requests. Decisions are typically related to the appropriateness and quality of supplied responses, simplifying technical terminology, communicating with senior executives, and inserting expert judgement to reduce risk exposure.
Responsibilities
The Lead, Technology Exams, Audits and Inquiries liaisons a wide variety of requests and audits, working with subject matter experts and senior leaders to provide documentation and build responses. The leader also develops and manages the process to review potential customer contract exceptions, proposed performance guarantees impacting IT, drives remediation of findings, and guides subject matter experts, process owners and leaders in the process. Strong oral and written communication skills are required, as well as exceptional attention to detail, quality and timeliness. This leader will have significant impact in the delivery of responses to requesting entities, which influence revenue through customer sales, financial penalties, and the Humana brand.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
6 or more years of technical experience
2 or more years of management experience
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Internal and/or external audit or regulatory exam experience
Interpretation of technical documentation abilities
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Working experience with SOX/SOC
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Technology risk management experience
Project management experience
Prior demonstrated experience with process improvement or process design
Additional Information
For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home. Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
