Job Summary


Reporting to the Sr. Director of DEI&B, the Manager of DEI&B is responsible for leading the development and mobilization of the diversity, equity & inclusion strategy, initiatives, programs and partnerships across the Central Division. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ongoing project support to advance employee engagement and inclusion through programs focused on Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), female (gender) impact, people of color, disability inclusion, the LGBTQIA community, and DE&I enrichment activities that will focus on all employees. The DEI&B Manager will partner closely with other DE&I team members across the enterprise to lead the planning and execution of establishing critical partnerships, managing the planning of diversity events, conferences, and internal programs. A successful candidate will understand the business impact of diversity, equity, inclusion & belonging and will leverage key metrics, communications and strategies to drive positive business outcomes. This candidate must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment with quick shifting priorities, be committed to process improvement, standardization and creating sustainability.


Job Description

Core Responsibilities:


Provides Leadership & Development for the DEI&B Program Team

Manages DEI&B initiatives designed to support key business objectives, long-term goals and projects

Educates staff on new initiatives, messages, goals and projects determined by senior management

Partners with senior management to develop and implement broad-based DEI&B tools, providing employees with messaging and industry/competitive context for all key business initiatives

Trains staff and counsels other personnel on best use of new and available DEI&B tools

Develops metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of DEI&B initiatives and tools

Develops, trains and manages staff in day-to-day operations. Participates in evaluation of performance reviews

Manage efforts that startup the design, development and delivery of diversity & inclusion programs and initiatives

Evaluate DE&I Partnership Portfolio on a yearly basis to determine the destination of allocated funds that align with division goals

Identify and design diversity & inclusion enrichment activities to drive employee engagement

Organize data that aide in completing annual diversity surveys

Provide support to Divisional/Regional HR Partners in the field to advance and align DE&I initiatives

Develop presentations to advance awareness of key diversity & inclusion initiatives and demonstrate impact to the business

Partner with DE&I Leadership and Communications team to regularly highlight and create communications content to share news, success stories, and information via the intranet site, external-facing **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. sites and reports, company newsletters, company social media channels and other vehicles about our diversity and inclusion initiatives

Work cross-functionally and establish productive partnerships with key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s diversity & inclusion and business objectives (e.g., partners and stakeholders include Business Leaders, Corporate Communications, HR Communications, **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Job Requirements:


Experience working with Employee Resource Groups, including leading,managing, designing processes, guidelines and trainings for ERGs (e.g., business plans, budget plans, operations)* Experience working with HR Partners/Diversity stakeholders.* Experience with building a DE&I Partnership portfolio that align with company interests* Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to communicate effectively with various levels.* Public speaking experience in small and large group forums, and excellent

presentation and facilitation skills.* Strong interpersonal skills, relationship-building and collaborative skills to work with diverse groups and stakeholders across the organization and at all levels.* Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail* Must be able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment and function well under pressure.* Demonstrated success in tactical implementation, project management and operational excellence.* Experience with data tracking, analysis and creating reports.* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.* Proficient in the utilization of all the Microsoft Office Suite programs,

including, but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Ability to travel up to 25%, and work some nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary to support programs and events.* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Preferred:


B.A./B.S. degree in related discipline strongly preferred (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Diversity & Inclusion, Ethnic Studies, Multicultural Marketing or related field)* 3-5 years experience* Strong background and understanding of diversity and inclusion in a corporate environment* Experience working in the Cable, Technology or Media industry desired but not required
