This includes scheduling, coordinating locations, providing proper materials, developing and maintaining proper records of training, etc.u0026nbsp; Ensure that all required training is regularly completed, documented, and tracked.u0026nbsp; Provide proactive training to address trends and incident prevention strategiesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eEnsure contractors and subcontractors have implemented an effective safety process by conducting pre-qualifications and by visiting/auditing work in progress on a regular basisu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eConduct routine site walk-downs to perform housekeeping inspections; identify potential hazards and conduct one-on-one contact sessions with workers to discuss safety issuesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eMaintain safety data sheets (SDSs) and interpret for safe handling and disposal of chemicalsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eRespond to incidents including but not limited to injuries, incidents and near misses, and facilitate the appropriate corrective action and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process to be completedu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eProvide management/oversight for the LOTO, Confined Space, Emergency Response Programs and other plant/corporate policies and proceduresu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAct as liaison between plant and regulatory agenciesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eProvide safety and compliance guidance to employees and contractors during plant equipment outages.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eMonitor and implement new and changing OSHA regulationsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eDevelop and maintain emergency response plans; oversee the facility emergency response team to ensure appropriate training in emergency response, spill response, disaster preparedness and crisis management. The EHS Manager cooperates with the Operations Manager and Maintenance Manager as needed in the daily operation of the plants. Maintains a close working relationship with NAES corporate Safety and Environmental Support Services as well as Client Corporate contacts.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cstrongu003ePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONSu003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003ePower plant environment.
