**Contract Opportunity for 12 - 14 Months**
In this role, the Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing internal communication strategies and programs that reach more than 4,300 team members across the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA. Working closely with the CEO, Executive and Leadership teams, you will develop, execute, and sustain an internal communications plan focused on supporting Husky’s strategic priorities with the goal of increasing awareness, comprehension, and engagement around such programs.

define the global internal communication strategy and plan:
Key stakeholders: CEO, Executive Committee, Global Human Resources, DST
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
A strategic and creative thinker with strong story-telling skills
Develop and implement Husky’s internal communication and engagement strategy, ensuring the company’s mission, values, initiatives, and corporate news are communicated in a regular, considered, effective and engaging way
Manage and create engaging content for the internal communications channels (intranet, email, in-person events, internal social channels (e.g.; Yammer, Stream), virtual events etc.) and regularly evaluate the efficiency of the channels used, making continuous improvements
Manage the planning and delivery of both virtual and in-person town halls and communications events (including the Quarterly Business Update)
Ensure that staff across all campuses are actively engaged and feel included in the company’s work, embedding organizational culture, shared brand values and help the company speak with a common voice
Build feedback mechanisms and processes into the internal communications strategy to facilitate staff feedback – use input to further evolve strategy
Ensure internal communications is considered and handled in a sensitive and timely fashion
Provide clear and effective communication in response to crisis or emergency situations
Working closely with internal clients to understand their internal communication needs, including providing advice on communications approach, developing and modifying plans and implementing tactics overseeing design and delivery in multiple languages while aligning it to our
strategic priorities
Supporting the business transformations, in partnership with Human Resources, analyzing their impact, designing and driving appropriate change communications plan and actions
Conceptualizing and developing evaluation measures to test success and ROI
Leading the continuous improvement and digital transformation of Husky’s communications channels, processes, and tools
Excellent English writing and editing skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly
Strong project management skills as demonstrated by effectively managing multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work under tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to listen to and interact confidently with others
Strong team ethic―diplomatic team-player who can establish positive relationships and work effectively and collaboratively with individuals across the company and at all levels
Excellent organization skills; ability to effectively plan and manage work, respond to conflicting demands on an urgent and ad-hoc basis and prioritize workload appropriately

roactive problem-solver who can demonstrate initiative and make decisions autonomously, while remaining alert to the need to consult and update others as appropriate
Positive and flexible attitude; high degree of integrity and professionalism; ability to remain composed under pressure
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary education in communications, public relations or journalism, English or Business with a focus on Marketing, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of focused internal communications experience, preferably with a global organization, working with colleagues in multiple locations and across time zones
Proven ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of internal audiences
Strong project management skills
A solid understanding of best practices in internal communications and employee engagement
Outstanding writing and editing skills
Understanding of various channels of internal communication in a hybrid environment, including with managing an intranet
Experience with leveraging digital tools and platforms to drive employee engagement
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Stream, and Teams
Experience, including drafting and publishing of written and audio-visual content
