Description

The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition interviews prospective employees for hourly and salaried positions. Assists with university graduate and professional recruiting. The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s).

Responsibilities

As the Associate Director, Executive Recruiting, you will be responsible for developing and engaging your team, educating the business around the Executive Recruiting processes and leading efforts to attract top talent for highly critical positions. You are responsible for partnering with HR leadership to collaborate and formulate consensus, which drives business results. Additionally, the Associate Director will be responsible for managing VP/SVP executive searches (in house and retained), including executive compensation terms and conditions, able to negotiate the variables around compensation in a publicly traded organization. This position will also manage a team of highly specialized professional associates responsible for supporting the hiring needs of executive-level hiring managers.

The Executive Recruiting Associate Director will:


Lead, manage, and develop direct reports
Develop and drive the executive search firm selection/management/execution strategy
Support and develop the talent acquisition 'brand' which leverages Humana's commitment to 'lifelong well-being' and 'consumer-focused health care'
Use influence to raise the aligned business segment's collective knowledge on external competitive market intelligence
Communicate knowledge of proven and emerging best practices to business leaders, hiring manager and recruiters
Work collaboratively with key business aligned partners to strategize and proactively create human capital plans
Apply financial, data analysis, and advanced technical knowledge to forecast and analyze departmental needs and create long-term goals
Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives and manage special projects
This role will also directly manage executive level searches, as needed


Required Qualification


Bachelor's degree
5-10 years of executive recruitment experience
Previous experience leading an Executive Recruiting team
Demonstrated experience with full life-cycle recruiting as well as sourcing passive candidates
Demonstrated ability to interface and develop collaborative relationships with senior executives and influence other leaders to adopt and participate in strategic change initiatives
Ability to lead multiple high level executive searches with successful outcomes
Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes
Experience managing relationships with third party search firms


Preferred Qualifications


Master's degree
Prior leadership of a Talent Acquisition team in a Fortune 500 company with a preference for experience in a healthcare environment
Prior experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams
Demonstrated background in rolling out talent acquisition programs (ex. Inclusion and Diversity)
Broad recruitment experience in corporate staffing, search firm, and/or recruitment process organizations; exposure to a variety of recruiting/staffing organizational models
Prior experience with recruitment operations including applicant tracking systems, automated reporting/tracking (recruiting analytics), and vendor management
Broad HR experience in functional areas such as workforce planning, compensation, learning and development, diversity/inclusion, and business planning

You will have 5 direct reports, and you will report to the Director of Executive Recruiting
