Manager, Business Systems Administration - Information Data Services Team
Location: Irving, TX

Job Summary:

The Business Systems Administration Manager reports to the Director, Systems Management and will be responsible for the technical support of our core applications - currently includes Emptoris and SAP-Vistex contract management platforms. Also serve as technical consultant for member/customer sourcing engagements as we ramp up our strategy for commercial offerings.

Initially, this manager will lead the effort to consolidate issue tracking and reporting for all Novation systems and establish management dashboards that portray the health of our key platforms and applications.* As we return to a more normal operating posture, this role will provide support to the Vendor Management function and advance Novations maturity in dealing with strategic technical partners.*

Responsibilities:
Provides day to day guidance and leadership for 3-5 administrators supporting our core business applications
Coordinates with business partners and supporting vendors on upgrades and enhancements
Provides technical support for member sourcing team and the number of member sourcing environments that may be created
Leads projects to expand capabilities of core applications
Responsible for security access and audits for these systems
Monitors and reports on issues related to our core platforms and communicates up with significant concerns and opportunities
Requirements:
College degree in Computer Science or related field required
5 - 7 years of experience
SAP SD, Basis, MDM, PI certifications preferred
PMP certification a plus
Skills in managing technical resources and instilling commitment and dedication within a support group
Knowledge of e-sourcing solutions and enterprise contracting systems
Consultative experience with technical products; ability to inspire confidence in customers
Experience managing both hosted and installed solutions for a large enterprise
Knowledge of healthcare contracting with focus on supply chain products and services consumed by hospitals
Project management skills with concentration on system upgrade, enhancement and customization projects
Ability to connect with business stakeholders and customers with regard to complex technical concerns
Excellent communication skills
