What We’re Looking For:
The Portfolio Analytics & Insights Director is a critical role that will build the foundation for the way we approach analytics and insights for our rapidly growing Bootcamp products. You will conceptualize and systematize how we uncover data-driven insights to ensure that we’re maximizing growth across product lines within the portfolio. This is an amazing role for someone who is intellectually curious, a strategic and tactical thinker with a highly analytical mind and looking to have an impact on key business decisions.
The Portfolio Analytics & Insights Director is accountable for quantifying and measuring the success of our executions across product lines, and optimizing the portfolio by capitalizing on synergies between marketing data for individual products.
You will lead and support multiple projects, be involved in external reviews if needed, and be integral in developing new analytical tools and processes.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Translate high-level business objectives into conversion strategies and goals
Develop detailed strategic plans and lead forecasts
Owns marketplace insights related to marketing solutions, new channels, consumer
Demands and competitive pressures
Oversee creation of the analytics architecture & framework to ensure consistency in tracking, measurement, and reporting across products within the portfolio
Architect the visualization & delivery of actionable insights to fuel continuous optimization & testing
(decision trees & hypotheses matrices)
Build and scale a best-in-class testing & optimization practice
Play an instrumental role in evolving and designing new, innovative measurement tools. Managing the process through to delivery and take ownership of global rollout
Build a deep understanding of marketing plans and their objectives to help product teams build comprehensive measurement, and test & learn plans
Lead cross-functional & cross-product projects using advanced data analysis techniques to identify insights that will guide strategic decisions.
Own demand analysis as it relates to product research for new courses and modalities
Build strong relationships with internal teams to consistently understand analytical needs, train new team members of the analytics team to enable them
Drive analysis informing segmentation and targeting recommendations across all marketing channels.
Provide thought leadership and data support on the design, execution, and measurement of impactful marketing experiments and channel tests.
Partner with acquisition experts on optimizing user targeting, awareness, conversion, and retention campaigns.
Develop and manage a multi-touch attribution model across all touchpoints and channels.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive forecasting tool to inform planning, budget allocation, and marketing channel efficiency recommendations.
Assist stakeholders in setting channel goals around new user acquisition, LTV, revenue, and efficiency (e.g., payback period, CAC/LTV).
Be the influencer in team members, foster a data-driven culture and be the subject matter expert of the business you support
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent fields, Master’s Degree preferred
7 - 10 years of experience delivering analytics solutions within a data-driven environment with experience managing a team of analytics professionals
Proficiency in MySQL, Excel, and Tableau (or similar tool)
Direct experience with digital media channel KPIs and analytics (SEM, PPC, GA, Email)
Experience in marketing programs & campaigns measurement
Strong understanding of what data points can be collected and analyzed in a digital campaign, and how each data point should be analyzed
Experience building tiered (exec/senior/project/tactical) reporting & analytics practices
Experience establishing both vision and growth plans for an Analytics & Insights team
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to delegate effectively
Established and professional communication, presentation, and motivational skills
