Bell is seeking a self-motivated experienced Software Engineering
Supervisor to join Bell’s Innovation Team and support the development and
demonstration of new and novel Unmanned Aerial Systems. The Supervisor
will be directly involved in the development of enabling technologies leading
to the integration of UAS in On-Demand Mobility markets. This position
will lead a diverse team of engineers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will include:
Supervising a team of direct reports responsible for design and
development of hardware, flight controls, control laws and autonomous
functions.Planning, scheduling and
budgetary input to program leadershipLead requirement
development and decomposition effortsOversee and advise
design reviews and testingMentor and guide fellow engineersProvide weekly updates
and assist in proposal efforts for commercial and military products

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Software,
Aerospace, Electrical engineering or related degree.
Position Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience with 2 years of experience in ITAR or Innovation projects; OR, Minimum of 8 years of experience.Experience in embedded software development with
several development cycles managing and implementing complex softwareExperience in embedded hardware developmentComfortable leading a multidiscipline team in a
rapid development environmentKnowledge of:Real time operating
systems and sub-system control theorySoftware Development Best
PracticesSoftware verification
and validationDevelopment in an
