Job Summary:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a Sr. Manager to develop and manage our Global Commodity Engineering team, partnering with Operation Engineering, Design Engineering, Commodity management and Supply Chain Operations
to develop the next generation enterprise all flash storage products
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
Provide leadership to mechanical, component, and product quality Engineering teams
Lead cross functional teams to launch new products, qualify new suppliers and EMS partners
Provide technical expertise and supports to Operations, Engineering, suppliers, and customers
Define, implement, and execute HW tooling, packaging qualification criteria and procedure
Cost analysis and budget planning for hard tooling development, packaging qualification
Develop commodity strategy, supplier quality metrics and management systems
Manage quality escalation: Failure Analysis, impact assessment and corrective actions
Develop alternate sourcing plan to support BOM risk assessment, EOL and LTB needs
Qualify commodities and parts to ensure supply chain continuity
Monitor, improve and ensure product quality from NPI to sustaining and customers
Manage Product Change Notification (PCN) and approved vendor list in PLM system
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE…
10 years of management experience in high tech industry
Strong leadership with global teams and Cross functional teams
Strong technical program management skills
Solid background in Mechanical Engineering, Component Engineering, Product Quality
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, other engineering discipline is required
Experience in system integration, working at an OEM and EMS corporation is a plus
Detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-focused, and flexible and adaptable to business needs
High level of teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to operate in a fast-paced changing business environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
