The role of the Business Operations Manager, within the Office of the CIO, is focused on ensuring that the TPG organization does the right things through strategy and governance, as well as doing things right through communication, organizational and operational model development and performance management. This global manager level role is responsible for overseeing functions such as the Technology and Process Group (TPG) governance, talent management, performance management and metrics, communications, event management, and the implementation of TPG ways of working (common methodologies, processes, and tools for developing and operating TPG).
Participates in driving focus and prioritization within the TPG organization by establishing/ facilitating strategic planning and governance principles and processes.
Develops, manages and maintains TPG policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance — as well as performance management frameworks and metrics — to ensure the TPG organization delivers value to the enterprise.
May oversee the execution of high-impact, enterprise wide, strategic programs and initiatives.
Develops and oversees TPG talent and workforce management, including programs to facilitate the sourcing, onboarding, training and development of staff. Partners with HR, Talent Management, and PVH U teams to facilitate TPG talent management strategies and initiatives.
Supports inclusion and diversity strategies, practices and processes to increase associate engagement and retention
Responsible for creating, reviewing, facilitating and managing all communications related to talent management within TPG.
Drives and facilitates effective collaboration and communications both within the organization and between the TPG organization and the user and customer communities.
Maintains specific communications and cadence for meetings, department notifications, successes, changes, projects, organizational updates, and ongoing communications, throughout TPG as well as PVH (as required).
Leads the development of communications materials (articles / videos / social contact) used within TPG, including the design and maintenance of the TPG wide teamsite and all communications channels.
Supports and attends specific initiatives and global department events including department meetings, leadership events and philanthropic activities.
Supports objectives in the development of all departmental social marketing initiatives and engagement strategies and events.
Develops programs to foster global TPG social conversation and enhanced associate experience
Contributes innovative ideas for content, marketing, and driving awareness of TPG programs and initiatives
Assist in communication of strategies or messages from leadership team and other ad-hoc communications related projects.
Assist in identifying and implementing new initiatives in line with the CIO’s strategy, to develop, champion, and launch new initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
7 or more years in IT and business/industry
A minimum of five years of leadership responsibilities
Experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholder
Possesses extensive capabilities and understanding of communications principles and practices
Education:
Bachelor's in business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
Skills:
Strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility
Expertise in a broad spectrum of talent processes, practices and tools (design, development and implementation).
Listening and Coaching Capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to develop relationships across groups and functions at all levels of the organization including senior leadership
Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others
