Manager, Commercial Finance Process and Deal Analytics

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a high-performing finance manager to join the Commercial Finance team. The Manager, Commercial Finance Process and Deal Analytics will be highly cross-functional, requiring significant interaction with Sales, Sales Operations, Pricing & Packaging, Product and Super Network teams. You will build the analytics foundation and strategic analysis that will drive discounting guidelines, inform leadership of efficiency trends and opportunities, and directly influence the team and broader commercial productivity. Additionally, you will map and optimize processes to enable us to run a world-class commercial finance practice.
Who
Twilio is looking for a leader who lives
the Twilio Magic
and has a demonstrated track record of leading Commercial Finance processes.  They also have:
8 years of relevant analytical and project management experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Pricing. Experience in global high-growth technology companies in a commercial finance or sales operations role is a requirement.  Experience in a commercial finance role in a communications platform company is a plus. 
A Self starter with strong communication, both written and verbal, and ability to articulate a recommended course of action.
Exceptional analytical skills and clear thinking; experience building scalable processes and summarizing complex data.
Experience navigating operational complexity and synthesizing financial insights into relevant actionable items. Demonstrated track record in unit economics and portfolio analysis.
Strong aptitude and proficiency in Excel required.  Proficiency in Salesforce and CPQ preferred; and similar systems beneficial.
Ability to navigate organizational structures and build and nurture relationships with a variety of leaders and teams.

WRITE IT DOWN: Design and implement best in class automated processes for streamlining the deal review process.  Identify root cause and drive execution of projects that maximize Commercial Finance efficiency.
DRAW THE OWL: Define, implement, measure and report productivity metrics. Create a monthly pace report to inform leadership on progress and articulate future opportunities.  Refine, complete and publish a quarterly Commercial Finance report to internal stakeholders.
BE AN OWNER & BE BOLD: Propose, implement, measure and report discounting initiatives and experiments. Own ongoing maintenance of the non-standard deal tracker.   Own the implementation of policies around contract negotiations (discount policies, deal structures). 
EMPOWER OTHERS: Assist on ad hoc projects and Propose, implement, measure and report discounting initiatives and experiments.
NO SHENANIGANS: Dissect the portfolio to inform discounting framework and thresholds at the product and country level. Own ongoing execution of standard discounts. Propose, implement, measure and report discounting initiatives and experiments
