General Description:
The Vice President & Controller is responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Company, coordinating all General Ledger, Cash and Financial Reporting functions as well as oversee A/P, Payroll, A/R, and Billing functions all while maintaining the Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee filing of all corporate tax returns
Manage and maintain General Ledger accuracy
Manage and maintain Cash accuracy
Manage and maintain Financial Reporting accuracy
Create and distribute Revenue reports to all offices as well as Board of Directors
Help to create and maintain an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork
Other accounting projects and duties as needed
Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher required
Minimum of 10 years’ experience and CPA required
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
Must have a strong knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet; advanced Excel skills required
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently and with other team members
Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as requiredV
