Position Objective
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager!
Assists the Director, Compliance Services with overseeing and tracking all activities related to risk management for All Covered Healthcare clients. Activities include Enterprise Risk Management, GLBA and IT Risk Management, Data Classification and asset management, and Business Continuity Planning. Also includes coordination and training related to client oversight committees and or Board meetings.
Essential Job Functions
Oversees the design and implementation of the policies and procedures for HIPAA / HITRUST privacy/compliance programs.
Develops compliance risk model and a risk rating process based on current compliance efforts.
Provides consultation to customers regarding respective compliance issues.
Develops and implements innovative and constructive alternatives to sub-standard processes in order to bring them into compliance.
Keeps abreast of all changes in accreditation and regulatory laws, policies, procedures and standards and initiates the process of updating departments through inter-office communication and in-services in preparation of anticipated affects.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University
5 years HIPAA Compliance and or Health Care product compliance experience
Certification from the Compliance board and/or the Health Care Compliance Association
Develops a monitoring system to track compliance initiatives in audits and the results of regulatory and compliance reports.
Reviews proposed administrative policies and procedures for completeness, effectiveness and adequacy of controls.
Directly supervise members of the compliance department.
Manage resources to achieve scheduled compliancy related deadlines throughout the year.
This position provides oversight and development opportunities to project resources and other operational support personnel as appropriate.
The Healthcare Compliance Manager delivers within approved budget, schedule and meets quality standards.
All employees of All Covered are required to complete annual HIPAA and compliance training. This role may have access to sensitive data to include PII and ePHI.
Project management, consulting and corporate training.
Delivering onsite support, consultative services and training in the areas of compliance management.
Ongoing education on HIPAA, HITRUST, FFIEC, FDIC, OCC and other regulatory agency guidance.
Maintains detailed written documentation on all customers, including consulting services, training provided, client needs, meetings held, requests and/or issues.
Keep abreast of all operational methods, procedures, and product developments.
Remains current on all compliance training topics and ensures all materials are current.
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited University.
* 5 years HIPAA Compliance and/or Health Care product compliance experience.
* Certification from the Compliance Board and/or the Health Care Compliance Association.
