Description
Humana is looking for a Lead Cloud Product Manager to join our Enterprise Architecture team. The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages Humana's Cloud systems for use enterprise-wide.
Responsibilities
The Lead Cloud Product Manager will focus on driving alignment of solution architecture and design for Humana's Azure & Google cloud system. They will collaborate with multiple teams including engineering and architecture to develop requirement statements which features on behalf of users so that they set the direction for each team, and ensures that those are easy to understand, implementable and sufficiently granular in order to allow for proper coding, testing and resiliency validation. This individual will be a key voice in developing and implementing Humana's cloud strategy.
Other key initiatives:
Monitor and track product feedback in support of work planning, prioritization and execution of development product releases
Work with engineering and Architecture to align on feature sizing and delivery planning
Explain the why and what of new features to product owners, stakeholders, engineers, testers and operations teams
Direct and lead creation of functional and non-functional feature descriptions aligned on business and technical goals by actively participating in backlog prioritization
Acts as technical consultant to drive decision on vendor selection; responsible for influence and alignment with neighbor teams
Identify opportunities to improve performance and product health using data results, directing improvements to product performance

Based on current guidance from the CDC, local and state governments, and Humana leadership related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak have extended travel restrictions until further notice. The policy will be reassessed as the situation warrants. Once these restrictions are lifted this role may require up to 10% travel depending on business needs for anyone not located in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualification
Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent years of experience in a similar role
4 years of experience as a technical product manager evaluating, selecting and designing service-oriented architecture products and solutions
1 years of experience Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud services and their implementation in application and product domains as well as with Cloud-first application architecture and design
1 years of hands on experience in developing technical roadmaps, customer journeys and sequence diagrams as well as gathering and writing technical requirements
Strong ability to write story outlines, user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing work items
Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Kanban, Scrum) and tools (e.g. Azure, Jira, Confluence)
Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams of all levels including external vendors
Work at Home Requirements
Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

Preferred Qualifications
Located in Louisville, KY Strongly Preferred
Master's degree in STEM field
5 years of Healthcare experience as a product manager within a technology environment, with a record of successfully delivering complex products and services.
Technical knowledge in web, cloud-first and service-oriented application
Technical knowledge in Microsoft .Net, REST APIs, Azure Cloud and latest Web UI technologies (for example, AngularJS and React)
Experience working in incremental delivery of software, including value-stream mapping, dividing features in working 'slices'
Experience running, facilitating and reporting within agile SDLC, particularly Scrum and Kanban
Additional Information
Candidates located in Louisville, KY will be both in-office and work-at-home once CDC restrictions are lifted.
